Kristen began her media career in her hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota, launching the media startup Metromix.com for KARE-11 TV. She recently founded her own production company Original Stories Media, which specializes in cinematic branded content for world-class businesses. When she’s not busy asking lots of questions, she loves binge-watching Netflix, sweating up a storm at Pilates, finding fun DIY projects, and hanging out with her husband and two dogs in Los Angeles.

Kristen Aldridge has worked all over the world as a journalist, anchor, reporter, host, editor-in-chief, writer, producer and content creator. With two decades of experience in media covering a wide variety of genres such as news, business, entertainment and sports, Kristen has been awarded an Emmy, a Davey, and five Tellys. She’s also covered just about every star-studded event, including the Golden Globes, the Grammys, the Emmys and the Oscars, where she had the honor of being co-host for the national red carpet pre-show on ABC.

Currently, Kristen is the creator, director, producer and host of How Brands Are Born, a new original series in partnership with Entrepreneur.com and Facebook Watch that features the origin stories behind the world's most impactful companies. Spotlighting candid one-on-one interviews with pioneering entrepreneurs, brands featured in Season One included Sweetgreen, Beyond Meat, Beautycounter, Ring and Patron Tequila, bringing in over 2.5 million views.

With a passion for capturing compelling stories, she has interviewed some of the world’s most iconic and influential individuals across business, entertainment and sports including Richard Branson, Ibtihaj Muhammad, Serena Williams, Ryan Gosling,
Cindy Crawford, Justin Timberlake and Sir Anthony Hopkins, to name a few.

Prior to The Daily Buzz, Kristen was instrumental in launching Yahoo!’s omg! NOW, where during her tenure as host it become the most popular pop culture platform online, garnering over 700 million streams to date. She helped build the viewership both online and on television, partnering with The Insider on CBS for the newly branded omg! Insider, where she was an anchor and correspondent, appearing both on television and online.

With a proven track record for conceiving and executing distinct editorial visions, she also transformed the digital experience as a longtime contributor to SHAPE Magazine, building out their celebrity wellness coverage on shape.com.
 
Kristen’s experience spans beyond covering business, entertainment, news and wellness. As anchor and writer of All Access Hour Live for the WTA, she traveled around the world interviewing top pro tennis players at prestigious tournaments like Wimbledon and the WTA Finals in Singapore.

Previously, Kristen was an anchor and reporter for ABC in Los Angeles.
While there, Kristen wrote, produced and presented an inside look at the top trending stories people couldn’t get enough of online.
